Review : Good Molecules Discoloration correcting and Daily brightening serums.

Hey Love, so I used the Good Molecules Discoloration correcting and Daily brightening serums for about 3 months(last few days in January – first few days in May), I used the daily brightening in the morning and the discolouration correcting at night and I have a few things to say.

Before I get into my review, a little about both serums, according to Good Molecules, the Discoloration correcting serum

“Improve the appearance of skin discolouration and uneven skin tone with Discoloration Correcting Serum from Good Molecules. Formulated with tranexamic acid and niacinamide, this lightweight serum improves the appearance of age spots, acne scars, hyperpigmentation, and sun damage.”

The key ingredients here are tranexamic acid (tranexamic acid works by interrupting at least two pathways in skin that, left unchecked, can lead to discolourations, including larger patches known as melasma. (Source: Paula’s Choice Research team) and niacinamide(also known as vitamin b3, “has the ability to visibly improve the appearance of enlarged pores, uneven skin tone, fine lines, dullness, and a weakened skin surface.” (Source: Paula’s Choice Research team) and a bunch of other hydrating ingredients.

Now to the Brightening Serum, according to GM

Maintain a bright, even-toned complexion with this Daily Brightening Serum from Good Molecules. Beta arbutin and hyaluronic acid go to work to gently brighten and promote a healthy, youthful complexion without irritation.

The key ingredients here are Hyaluronic acid. I have a post about Hyaluronic acid here, and Beta Arbutin, a depigmentation serum that also has antioxidant properties, which makes it a perfect morning serum.

I usually advise people to use antioxidants in the morning and this will brighten your skin.

So, a few things I love, the serums do what they are supposed to (if you’re patient enough and have realistic expectations). These serums have been formulated to hydrate, nourish and brighten the skin.

Both serums did not irritate me at all which is something I know some people worry about when picking treatments. No irritation or breakouts.

I used one full dropper for my face and neck, any more would be a waste of product.

I particularly loved how the daily brightening serum was formulated as an ideal morning serum, brightening, hydrating and also fighting free radicals thanks to the antioxidants in it.

The best part is that both serums are each under 15$ which makes it comfortable enough to even repurchase. I intend to bring both back into my routine soon.
