Guest Post Review : Krave Beauty Matcha Hemp Cleanser.

Review by Abimbola (@MariamGlows).

What is it?

It is a hydrating gel cleanser.

What is it supposed to do?

It is meant to be used as a cleanser in the morning and as a second cleanser in the evening if you have makeup or sunscreen on.

Who is it for?

All skin types

What is it good for?

It is very good for cleansing the skin without stripping it off of its moisture.

Product description(colour, texture, scent).

It has a light green color. The texture of the cleanser is very similar to fruit jam but lighter than jam. I can’t place what it smells like but it isn’t a bad smell considering that there is no added fragrance in the product.

Where did I buy it and why?

Sadly this product is only available in the US and Korea. I had to get my lovely friend (@skinwithabiola) to ship it to me. I bought this cleanser because I am subscribed to the founders(Liah Yoo ) YouTube channel and I was sold after watching her explain how it works.

How long did you use it for? How did you use it?

I have used it for 2 weeks now. I patch tested it initially on my neck as usual and I had no negative reaction to it. I then proceeded to use it every single day for a week which is my normal time frame for testing cleansers. The second week I used it alongside other cleansers to be able to form a proper opinion about it.

I used it in the first week as both my morning and evening(second) cleanser.

My thoughts?

Product- I really like this product. It contains very mild surfactants. You actually just need a small amount of product to get your face clean. It also doesn’t foam a lot which I like because your face cleansers should not be providing you with bubble bath action 😂.

Performance- I think the product does a good job because my skin didn’t feel tight or dry afterward. It is not enough to remove sunscreen or makeup because I tried to see if it would wash off concealer and eyeliner but it didn’t(please note that the company didn’t claim it can take makeup off. I just did this for testing purposes).

Price- It costs 16$ for a 120ml tube which I think is a good price for a cleanser.

Packaging- It comes in a squeeze tube which isn’t bad but my lazy self prefers pump bottles for cleansers.

Will you repurchase?

Yes, I will.
